Bob began his career as a Financial Analyst for National Union Fire Insurance Company before becoming a Professional Liability Underwriter at the company. He advanced to of Regional Underwriting Manager before leaving to join Swiss Re Underwriters as a Facultative Casualty Manager and then Manger of the Treaty Operation. He joined American Re-Insurance Company in 1984, where he rose to the position of Vice President and co-managed treaty underwriting. At American Reinsurance Company, Bob was
responsible for a treaty portfolio of $500,000,000, including all professional liability and medical malpractice business. In 1989, Bob joined Alexander Re and as a Senior Vice President, managed the San Francisco operation. In 1996, Bob joined Guy Carpenter & Company as Managing Director and headed its Western Region. In 2004, Bob founded ReSource Intermediaries, Inc., which is now an Integro company. Bob serves as its President and Chief Operating Officer.
Bob earned a B.S. in Accounting from State University of New York, Buffalo, and an M.B.A. in finance from Golden Gate University. He is on the Board of the Brokers and Reinsurers Market Association (BRMA), the Insurance Industry Charitable Fund for the City of Hope, served as an adjunct professor of reinsurance at the College of Insurance/St. John's University, and has been a frequent speaker and panelist at numerous insurance and reinsurance industry conventions and conferences. Bob also
served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Insurance Educational Association, the country's oldest not-for-profit insurance educational organization.
