August 03, 2009 Integro Once Again Named Top Broker New York Integro earns top placement among insurance brokers according to rankings by both Business Insurance and Best's Review. The rankings are based on 2008 brokerage revenues. Integro's Chief Executive Officer and President, Pete Garvey, is quoted in a recent BestWire article. In the article, Garvey discusses Integro's strong positive growth of 21% for year end 2008, and 16% for first quarter 2009. He cites Integro's "high retention, positive operating cash flow and double digit organic growth." Garvey notes that the firm is in an "enviable position given what's happening with the economy," and comments that Integro's positive cash flow position through the first quarter is an "achievement for a start-up...and a milestone we're happy about." Garvey further notes that Integro will "continue its focus on complex risks," while closely managing its growth, citing the risk of diluting quality service when a company expands for the sake of expansion.
