Integro Ltd., an international insurance brokerage and risk management firm, announced the purchase of a substantial portion of the assets of London Market Insurance Brokers Ltd. (LMIB), an accredited Lloyd's Insurance Broker with a specialty in marine coverage solutions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

As a result of the transaction, over a dozen staff members and a portfolio of business primarily in the marine sector will transfer to Integro's International Division based in London. "This latest acquisition further enhances our London platform, which has been generating rapid organic growth, and adds more top notch colleagues with unique specialist credentials to Integro," President and CEO Peter Garvey said. "This caps a series of exciting advances for the firm in 2009, and is illustrative of the path forward for Integro."
