Faith Johnston Joins ReSource Intermediaries’ Leadership Team

San Francisco, CA (June 13, 2011) - ReSource Intermediaries, Inc., an Integro company, today announced the appointment of Faith Johnston to a leadership role with the firm's rapidly expanding Managed Care (HMO reinsurance and Provider Excess) and Accident and Health reinsurance offerings. She will also be responsible for ReSource Intermediaries' business development in this sector

A full-service San Francisco-based reinsurance broker with particular expertise in healthcare, ReSource Intermediaries was acquired by Integro, the New York-based insurance brokerage and risk management firm, in October 2010.

"Healthcare risk financing is undergoing a sea change leading up to full implementation of reform in 2014-particularly as it impacts insurers, provider-based health plans and other healthcare provider entities," said Peter Robinson, head of the ReSource Intermediaries Health and Accident team. "Based on her impressive record of success and client commitment, we are confident Faith will help ReSource Intermedaries' clients realize the best terms, high quality analytical modeling and innovation from the reinsurance markets nationally."

ReSource Intermediaries President Bob Kennedy noted, "We welcome Faith to our team. Adding her proven capabilities represents our commitment to this dynamic healthcare segment and to continued strong overall growth."

Johnston joins ReSource Intermediaries from Summit Reinsurance Services, Inc. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, where she served as regional vice president of sales. During her three years at Summit, she expanded the firm's presence in the western United States, managed all reinsurance broker relationships and succeeded in developing large accounts.

Earlier, Johnston held sales leadership positions at Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, Lincoln Re and Fairpay Solutions.

Johnston holds several designations, including: AHIP (HIAA) Managed Healthcare
Professional; Associate in Reinsurance; Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter; and Life, Accident and Health, Property and Casualty agent licenses. She is a Summa cum Laude graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
